The human body is incredibly resilient. It can endure and perform under monumental amounts of stress. But just as a high performance car who’s performance will degrade over time and eventually breakdown if it’s not properly maintained, so will an athlete. It has been said that talent will only get you so far. It has also been proven that all the talent in the world can’t make up for a nutrient deficient body. Nutrition should be the cornerstone of an athlete’s training, the absolute foundation, only next to their will to succeed.

Our Three Main Categories

Holistic Performance Enhancement

  • The object is to build greater resilience, strength, and longevity holistically for training and competition.

  • To do this we assess the athlete’s complete health history, diet, and lifestyle. We can also provide advanced lab testing, specifically designed for athletes, including genetic testing, to establish a comprehensive baseline for performance, health, and personalized nutritional needs.

  • Using the above data sets we then work to identify and clear the root cause of any nutrient deficiencies and optimize the athlete’s body’s systems through a tailored diet and supplementation.

  • Throughout this process the athlete is monitored through a variety of processes, tools and labs (if specified) until the desired outcome is achieved. Any fine tuning needed happens during this stage as well.

Impaired Athletic Performance

  • Impaired Athletic Performance (IAP) can be caused by a number of factors, and they will most likely be: over training, nutrient depletion, and sleep deprivation.

  • To address this we focus on any deficiencies and their root causes. We then work with the athlete to restore their energy through a carefully tailored choice of foods, supplementation (if needed), and a sleep/rest regimen.

  • IAP can delay an athlete’s progression through training and competition. If not addressed it can also lead to injuries that will further hinder an athlete’s progress and health.

  • The goal here is to obtain a quicker and healthier healing process during an athlete’s recovery from their injuries.

  • To do this we identify and eliminate any inflammatory foods from the athlete’s diet. Also, during this time we seek to uncover and repair any nutrient defects.

  • By accomplishing these methods the injury recovery time can be reduced, getting the athlete back into training and competition at a faster pace.
